Candidate
will be responsible for designing transport & trunk, BTS, and PSTN circuit
for provisioning, GRANITE/Xng documentation and engineering and LEC management.
Designs, receives, and track work orders generate or update cut sheets as
necessary. Monthly forecasting reports must be generated. Update and track
quality metrics on a weekly basis. Added responsibilities will involve tracking
Work Orders tasks, created designs for transport & trunk service
provisioning and managing issues between Planning and Provisioners. Person will
be in continual contact with carriers regarding the status of orders.
Must have 3-5 years
working knowledge of GRANITE/Xng, Engineering Db applications, LattisPro, and be
familiar with ASR lifecycle and order management. Knowledge of LEC ordering
tools is essential. The candidate must have transmission design experience
including knowledge of circuit terminology, e.g., SONET, DS3 and voice grade.
Excellent communications, project management and MS Excel skills are required.
Education requirements; BS, BA, some college desirable.
