Position
Description
The position is responsible for reviewing network planning information, placing access service requests and project managing the placed order to circuit delivery. A Healy and Company Provisioner must be able to assess equipment and circuit details required to order circuits and/or facilities for access services as well as specials and switched DS0, DS1, DS3 & OC-N services. They are responsible for ensuring accuracy/completeness of all circuit requests and provide a variety of technical/process support to Wireless Service Providers (WSP), Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) and Long Distance (LD) service providers.
Expected
performance standards;
Provides consistent high quality client/LEC/LD customer satisfaction,
Exhibits technology competence to client/LEC/LD, ASRs are issued without error.,
ASRs will be placed within two business days of Provisioning Requests, Provides
“total” order management and ownership from order issuance to completion in
a timely manner.
Requirements
Candidates
must have at least two years experience directly related to transport facilities
engineering and/or design; access circuit or facility ordering and/or
provisioning. Proven ability to communicate with all levels of a WSP, LEC, &
LD organizations as well as departments within those organizations. Must possess
excellent organizational and follow up skills, the ability and flexibility to
work independently when needed and/or with an existing team., the ability to
meet deadlines and respond well to changing priorities as needed by the clients/LEC/LD.
Current
knowledge of ASR web-based, manual order processes and the applications used by
local and LD vendors for ordering services as well as knowledge and practical
skills of work force administration tracking and carrier inventory systems.
