Tips for Applicants: After review by our personnel manager, faxes are scanned into data to be entered into our recruiting database. To ensure an accurate conversion, we recommend all resumes adhere to the following rules...

 

  • Originals only. Copies lose resolution and do not scan well.
  • 10 or 12 point sans-serif font at least.
  • No Italics, Bold, or Underlined characters.
  • No bullets or other special characters.
  • No graphics or pictures.
  • Use white or very light color paper to increase contrast.
  • Name and address at top of resume, and on all attached pages.
  • No handwriting or other extraneous markings.

 

Resumes should also indicate geographic preference, and willingness to relocate.

Following these rules will help ensure an accurate entry into our database, and will increase the chances of being 'found' when we match applicable skills to position requirements. Also keep in mind that specific skills are frequently sought, and telecom acronyms are completely acceptable and desirable, e.g. T1, T3, SONET, DMS100, GSM, 5ESS, CDMA, etc...
